By attending this 2.5-hour course, learners will learn about the process of making a counteroffer to another party. Sometimes, it gets confusing when multiple items are being countered. Having a written counteroffer trail is the best way to make sure the items being negotiated are mutually understood. Sometimes, a cancellation happens, and the parties need to identify the contract is canceled and the disposition of the earnest money. Making an offer to purchase that is contingent on selling a property can be confusing and this class will explain the process to simplify the transaction.

Objectives: Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
  • Understand effective counteroffer processes.
  • What and how a cancellation works.
  • Home sale contingency rights and obligations

This course is pending approval by the MN Commissioner of Commerce

All cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of class to avoid a $25 "no show" fee.

Please remember that there are people usually waiting to get into a class so when you've reserved a seat in the class, and then don't show - you have taken an opportunity away from another member. (No-Shows apply to those attending both in-person and/or virtually, if available.)

Thank you for your cooperation.
