Participants will gain insight into how local planning and zoning ordinances, flood plain management, and septic system requirements influence property use, permitting, and value. The session includes a high level overview of the most common types of septic systems and their basic functions in treating and dispersing wastewater. Learn how to interpret and apply local regulations, identify potential red flags, and better assist clients in navigating sight-specific environmental restrictions.
