DescriptionLocationInstructorsCancellation Policy There has been an upward trend in the number of Reconsideration of Value requests received by appraisers in recent years, for a variety of reasons. This seminar explores why such requests may occur – including potential deficiencies in an appraisal report – and how and to whom an appraiser can professionally respond. USPAP references are also cited. Objectives: • Identify how often and why ROVs occur • Identify areas of an appraisal report that might result in a ROV and how to reduce concerns about those elements • Recognize how various lenders, the secondary market, FHA, and VA handle ROV requests • Understand what sections of USPAP apply in a ROV This course has been approved from the Minnesota DOC for 2 hours of Appraisal and Real Estate CE.
