DescriptionLocationCancellation Policy Course Description: This course is designed to provide an in-depth review of the REALTORS® Code of Ethics with an emphasis on practical applications in everyday real estate practice. Participants will examine the purpose, structure, and enforcement of the Code, including the Professional Standards process, arbitration & mediation. The course also explores ethical obligations to clients, the public, and other agents with discussion of real-world scenarios. Learning Objectives: Upon completion, participants will be able to distinguish between MN real estate license law and REALTOR Code of Ethics; explain the structure and purpose of the Code of Ethics, Identify the Professional Standards enforcement process, include ethics complaints, arbitration, mediation, and the ombudsman program, and apply articles to common real estate scenarios. This course has been approved for 3.0 Hours of Real Estate CE from Minnesota Department of Commerce. Per the DOC Minnesota Statute 45.30, Subd. 4: Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours.
