DescriptionLocationCancellation Policy By attending this 2.5-hour course, learners will learn about the correct ways in which to execute addenda to the Purchase Contract and learn about treating all parties fairly. Certain addenda to a contract are simple and some are difficult. By sharing the obligations of the addenda for Home sale, Personal Property and Common Interest Communities, licensees will be better equipped to explain to their consumers. Fair housing is an important topic in understanding how to create fair opportunities for property ownership. We examine the identified protected classes and the prohibited actions under the Fair Housing Act and MN Human Rights Act. Objectives: Upon completion of this course students will be able to: * Understand and be able to explain the obligations in an addendum. * Understand and identify the protected classes and prohibited actions. This course has been approved by the MN Commissioner of Commerce for 2.5 hours of real estate continuing education. Per the DOC Minnesota Statute 45.30, Subd. 4: Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours. You must be there by the start time of class and cannot leave before the course has concluded. No exceptions.
