As an interactive curriculum using real-life examples, the course instructs attendees on how to avoid the risks associated with the real estate industry, an increasing target of cybercrime. Policies and procedures are discussed to limit the chance of liability, reduce client liability, as well as to reduce the potential for personal injury and property losson the part of employees, representatives, agents, buyers, and sellers. Objectives • Learn the fundamentals of personal security, both in the physical and cyber worlds. • Devising an effective ongoing personal and office security plan, including keeping the client and their data secure. • Incorporate the fundamentals of Online Reputation Management. • Learn the implications of using social media, for individuals, clients and businesses. • Share tools and techniques that can be used to take responsibility for their personal and business data.
